Celeste in New York

Celeste are a French band formed in Lyon in 2005, playing sludge metal, black metal and post-hardcore. They are known for albums including Morte(s) née(s), Animale(s), Infidèle(s) and Assassine(s), the latter released by Nuclear Blast. Celeste have toured clubs across Europe and performed at heavy-music festivals. The band stages its sets in near-total darkness; each musician wears a red headlamp, and bursts of strobe light are part of the presentation. Celeste performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg and at Hellfest in Clisson.
