Chemistry in Iwate

Chemistry is a Japanese pop and R&B vocal duo formed in 2001 by Yoshikuni Dochin and Kaname Kawabata after they were selected through the television audition show ASAYAN. Their debut single “PIECES OF A DREAM” established their close two-part vocal style, followed by songs including “Point of No Return” and “You Go Your Way” and the album The Way We Are. CHEMISTRY 2002 TOUR Intro-lude took the duo around Japan early in their recording career. After pausing their activities in 2012, they returned to the stage for CHEMISTRY LIVE 2017 -TWO- at Tokyo International Forum, then marked their 20th anniversary with a 2022 concert at Nippon Budokan.
