Chiemi Hori is a Japanese singer and actress, born in Sakai in 1967, who debuted as an idol singer in 1982. Her early kayōkyoku and pop repertoire includes “Shiokaze no Shōjo” and “Tokyo Sugar Town,” while the television drama Stewardess Monogatari established her parallel acting career. In 2023, Chiemi Hori returned to solo concert work at Nakano Sunplaza for Chiemi Hori 40th Anniversary Live: Chiemi-chan Matsuri 2023. The anniversary production was also presented at Osaka Festival Hall.
