Petey Pablo is an American rapper from Greenville, North Carolina, known for Southern hip-hop built around his forceful delivery. His signature tracks include the North Carolina anthem “Raise Up” and the club hit “Freek-a-Leek,” while his albums include Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry and Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry. In 2016, Petey Pablo performed “Raise Up” at the NFC Championship Game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
