Chris Cain is an American blues guitarist and singer, born in San Jose, California, in 1955. He plays electric blues shaped by jazz and soul, and established his recording career with the album Late Night City Blues. His catalogue also includes Cuttin’ Loose, Somewhere Along the Way and Raisin’ Cain. Live at the Rep documents Chris Cain’s work as a bandleader and improvising guitarist in concert. He has toured internationally and appeared at recurring blues events including the Chicago Blues Festival and the San Francisco Blues Festival.
