Chris de Burgh in Friedrichshafen

Chris de Burgh is a British-Irish singer-songwriter, born in Argentina in 1948, whose music centres on narrative pop and soft rock. His best-known songs include “The Lady in Red” from Into the Light, “Don’t Pay the Ferryman” from The Getaway and “Spanish Train.” In 1974, he opened for Supertramp on the Crime of the Century tour. High on Emotion: Live from Dublin documented his concert repertoire in 1990. He later built tours around Moonfleet & Other Stories and The Hands of Man, then marked five decades of recording with the 50LO tour.
