Chris Lake & Murda Beatz in San Jose

Chris Lake is a British DJ and producer, born in Norwich in 1982 and raised in Scotland, who makes bass-led house music. His catalog includes “Changes” featuring Laura V, “Boneless” with Steve Aoki and Tujamo, “Turn Off the Lights” featuring Alexis Roberts and “Deceiver” with Green Velvet. He also founded the label Black Book Records. At Coachella in 2023, Chris Lake and FISHER played a joint DJ set on the Outdoor Theatre stage. Later that year, their Under Construction project staged an open-air performance on Hollywood Boulevard.

Murda Beatz is the stage name of Shane Lindstrom, a Canadian hip-hop producer and DJ from Fort Erie, Ontario. His production credits include Drake’s “Nice for What,” Travis Scott’s “Butterfly Effect,” French Montana’s “No Shopping” and Migos’ “Motorsport.” Murda Beatz took his Keep God First mixtape on a headline tour early in his performing career, presenting his production through DJ sets. He later brought that format to Coachella in 2019.
