Comedian
Chris Parker is a New Zealand comedian, actor, writer and podcaster from Christchurch. He is known for autobiographical and character-led comedy, his lockdown-era social videos and felted-hat project, and the podcast The Male Gayz. Television audiences also know him as the winner of Celebrity Treasure Island. Camp Binch won the Fred Award at the 2018 New Zealand International Comedy Festival. He followed it with further autobiographical solo work, including How I Felt, which drew on the felting project seen in his lockdown videos. He also performs live editions of The Male Gayz with Eli Matthewson.
