Christian Chávez in São Paulo

Christian Chávez is a Mexican singer and actor, born in Mexico City in 1983. He became known as Giovanni Méndez in the television series Rebelde and as a member of the pop group RBD, whose songs include “Rebelde,” “Sálvame” and “Sólo quédate en silencio.” His solo work includes the album Almas Transparentes and the single “Libertad,” recorded with Anahí. As a member of RBD, Christian Chávez toured on Tour Generación RBD, the Celestial Tour and the Empezar Desde Cero Tour. The group performed at Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro in 2006, a concert documented on Live in Rio. He reunited with RBD for the Soy Rebelde Tour in 2023, which ended at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
