Christina Stürmer is an Austrian pop-rock singer from Linz, born in 1982, who finished second in the first season of the television competition Starmania in 2003. She is known for songs including “Ich lebe,” “Mama (Ana Ahabak)” and “Millionen Lichter,” as well as the albums Freier Fall, Schwarz Weiss and Lebe lauter. On the Lebe Lauter Tour, she performed across Austria, Germany and Switzerland; a concert from the tour was released as Lebe Lauter Live. In 2023, she recorded MTV Unplugged in Wien at Vienna’s Volkstheater, presenting rearranged songs from across her catalogue in a theatre setting. Her festival appearances have included Donauinselfest and Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf.
