Clara Peya in Palma

Clara Peya is a Spanish pianist and composer born in Palafrugell, Catalonia, in 1986. Her piano-led music draws on jazz harmony, pop songwriting and electronics. She is known for albums including “Estómac,” “Perifèria” and “Corsé.” The concert version of “Estómac” placed Clara Peya at the piano alongside voices and electronic instrumentation. She later developed stage programs around “Perifèria” and “Corsé.” Her performance history also includes Les Impuxibles, the company she co-founded with her sister, choreographer Ariadna Peya, whose productions have appeared at Festival Grec de Barcelona.
