Clay Walker & Sawyer Brown in Caldwell

Clay Walker is an American country singer, born in Beaumont, Texas, in 1969. His self-titled debut album produced the country hits “What’s It to You” and “Live Until I Die,” while “Dreaming with My Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make a Living” and “This Woman and This Man” became further signature songs. In 2022, the Can’t Miss Tour paired Clay Walker with Tracy Lawrence and Randall King for a run of U.S. concerts. He has also performed at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.

Sawyer Brown is an American country and country-rock band formed in Apopka, Florida, in 1981. Fronted by Mark Miller, the group became widely known after winning the televised talent competition Star Search in 1984. Its best-known songs include “Step That Step,” “The Walk,” “Some Girls Do” and “Thank God for You.” The 1984 Star Search run introduced Sawyer Brown as a live act to a national television audience. The band then spent decades performing at fairs, festivals, theatres and casinos, a road history documented in the film Get Me to the Stage on Time. Its concert record also includes appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.
