Cole Chaney is an American singer-songwriter from Boyd County, Kentucky, who plays Appalachian country and folk. His debut album Mercy introduced songs including “Ill Will Creek,” “Coalshooter” and “Another Day in the Life,” built around acoustic instrumentation and stories of work, family and rural Kentucky. Cole Chaney has performed at the Laurel Cove Music Festival in Pineville, Kentucky, carrying the same song-focused material onto an outdoor festival stage. His Appalachian live history also includes Healing Appalachia in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
