Crowbar in Frankfurt am Main

Crowbar are an American sludge-metal band formed in New Orleans in 1990 and led by guitarist and vocalist Kirk Windstein. Their slow, down-tuned sound is captured on albums including Crowbar, Odd Fellows Rest and Sonic Excess in Its Purest Form, as well as songs such as “All I Had (I Gave),” “Planets Collide” and “Like Broken Glass.” Crowbar toured with Pantera during the 1990s, bringing the band into US arenas. They followed those dates with an appearance on Ozzfest in 1998. European festival appearances have included Hellfest in Clisson and Bloodstock Open Air in Derbyshire.
