Cry Before Dawn are an Irish rock band formed in Wexford in 1982. Their Celtic-tinged rock is heard on the albums Crimes of Conscience and Witness for the World, and on songs including “Gone Forever” and “The Seed That’s Been Sown.” Brendan Wade’s vocals, uilleann pipes and whistle are central to the group’s sound. Cry Before Dawn reunited in 2011 for concerts at Wexford Opera House. They followed those shows with further Irish dates, including a performance at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.
