Curved Air in Worthing

Curved Air are a British progressive-rock band formed in 1970, known for Sonja Kristina’s vocals and the prominent violin of founding member Darryl Way. Their early catalogue includes the albums Air Conditioning, Second Album and Phantasmagoria, while “Back Street Luv” remains their best-known song. The 1975 reunion tour brought founding members Way and Francis Monkman back together with Kristina, and Stewart Copeland played drums; performances from that period were issued as Curved Air – Live. The band resumed performing in 2008 and appeared that year at the Isle of Wight Festival.
