Artist
Cutting Crew are a British pop-rock and new-wave band formed in London in 1985 by singer-songwriter Nick Van Eede and guitarist Kevin MacMichael. They are best known for “(I Just) Died in Your Arms” and “I’ve Been in Love Before,” both from the debut album Broadcast. In 1988, Cutting Crew performed at Wembley Stadium during the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute. After Nick Van Eede re-formed the group with a new lineup, Cutting Crew returned to the stage at recurring UK 1980s events including Rewind Festival and Let’s Rock.
