Dave Chappelle in London

Dave Chappelle is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, born in Washington, D.C., in 1973. He became widely known through the sketch series Chappelle’s Show and stand-up specials including Killin’ Them Softly and For What It’s Worth, using satire to address race, politics, popular culture and celebrity. Dave Chappelle headlined the touring Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival in 2013, then staged an extended run at Radio City Music Hall in 2014 that paired stand-up with musical guests. In 2020, he organized a series of socially distanced outdoor comedy shows called Chappelle Summer Camp at Wirrig Pavilion near Yellow Springs.
