Dave Hollister in Alexandria

Dave Hollister is an American R&B, soul and gospel singer from Chicago, first known as a member of Blackstreet and the lead voice on “Before I Let You Go.” His solo catalogue includes the albums Ghetto Hymns and Chicago ’85... The Movie, as well as songs such as “My Favorite Girl” and “One Woman Man.” In the mid-1990s, Hollister performed with the group during its first album cycle before establishing a solo career. His later concerts have drawn on both phases of his catalogue, and his stage work has also included performances by The Chi, the vocal group formed with Carl Thomas and Donell Jones.
