Dave Stamey in Solvang

Dave Stamey is an American singer-songwriter whose country and folk songs focus on cowboys, ranch work and the American West. His own experience as a cowboy, mule packer and dude wrangler informs songs including “The Bandit Joaquin,” “Buckaroo Man” and “Come Ride with Me.” Dave Stamey has performed at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, a major showcase for cowboy poetry and Western music. He typically presents his songs solo with an acoustic guitar, connecting them through stories about ranch and trail life, and has brought that format to the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.
