Artist
David McAlmont is a British soul and pop singer-songwriter born in Croydon in 1967. He is best known as the vocalist in McAlmont & Butler, his partnership with guitarist Bernard Butler; their orchestral pop songs include “Yes” and “You Do,” both collected on The Sound of McAlmont & Butler. In 2015, McAlmont & Butler marked the twentieth anniversary of that record with a UK tour that included the Roundhouse. They returned to the road for another UK tour in 2022, reaching Manchester’s Albert Hall before a Glasgow performance at SWG3.
