David Morales is an American DJ, producer and remixer from New York City who plays house music rooted in disco, soul and club vocals. Born in 1962, he is known for “Needin’ U,” the album The Program with the Bad Yard Club, and remixes of Mariah Carey tracks including “Dreamlover” and “Fantasy.” He also won the Grammy Award for Remixer of the Year, Non-Classical. David Morales played New York clubs including Better Days and Red Zone during the 1980s. He later took his DJ sets to Pacha in Ibiza and Ministry of Sound in London.
