Davy Knowles in Santa Cruz

Davy Knowles is a Manx singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in 1987 and known for guitar-led blues rock. He first attracted attention as the frontman of the trio Back Door Slam, whose debut album Roll Away included “Come Home.” His solo catalogue includes Coming Up for Air, The Outsider and Three Miles from Avalon. Back Door Slam toured North America behind Roll Away and performed at Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Knowles carried on as a solo artist after the trio disbanded, and a later full-band concert was released as Live from Melbourne, Australia.
