DDT in Osaka

DDT is a Russian rock band formed in Ufa in 1980 and led by singer-songwriter Yuri Shevchuk. The band is known for Shevchuk’s direct social and political writing, the album «Актриса Весна», and songs including «Что такое осень», «Родина» and «Это всё». In 1993, DDT gave an open-air concert on Palace Square in St Petersburg. The band later took the conceptual «Мир номер ноль» program on tour, followed in 2011 by the «Иначе» tour built around the album of the same name. DDT plays most often in its home market and has also toured Germany and Israel for Russian-speaking audiences.
