Artists
Deafheaven is an American band formed in San Francisco in 2010 by vocalist George Clarke and guitarist Kerry McCoy. Their music brings black metal together with shoegaze and post-rock textures, a sound closely associated with the 2013 album Sunbather and its opening track, “Dream House.” Later records include New Bermuda, Ordinary Corrupt Human Love and Infinite Granite. Deafheaven performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in 2014 and Coachella in 2016 as their touring moved through clubs, theatres and major festivals. In 2023, the band marked the tenth anniversary of Sunbather by playing the album in full. The anniversary run reached the Knockdown Center in New York before a hometown date at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.
Show Me the Body are an American trio formed in Queens, New York, in 2009. They play noise rock and hardcore punk shaped by no wave and hip-hop, distinguished by Julian Cashwan Pratt’s amplified banjo. Their albums include Body War, Dog Whistle and Trouble the Water. In 2018, Show Me the Body staged the Corpus Grows gathering at Knockdown Center in Queens. They later led the 2023 World War Tour, whose lineup included Jesus Piece, Scowl, Zulu and TRiPPJONES. Their core live setup pairs amplified banjo and vocals with bass and drums, led by Julian Cashwan Pratt.
