Dean Friedman in Edinburgh

Dean Friedman is an American singer-songwriter, born in 1955 and raised in Paramus, New Jersey, whose pop songs are built around piano, guitar and closely observed storytelling. His self-titled debut album included “Ariel”; “Lucky Stars,” recorded as a duet with Denise Marsa, and “Lydia” appeared on “Well, Well,” Said the Rocking Chair. Dean Friedman’s Words & Music concerts have taken him through UK theatres and arts centres, where he accompanies himself on piano and guitar and introduces songs through stories about their writing. He has also brought this autobiographical concert format to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
