Death Of Guitar Pop are an English ska band from Essex, led by singers and songwriters Silky and Top Kat. Their music draws on 2 Tone, ska punk and rocksteady, while independent albums including 69 Candy Street, In Over Our Heads and Pukka Sounds established their catalogue. They built their live following through UK club and theatre tours, progressing to London headline shows at Scala and O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Their concert history also includes support appearances for Madness.
