Diana Arbenina in Varna

Diana Arbenina is a Russian singer-songwriter, guitarist and leader of the rock band Night Snipers. Born in 1974 in Volozhin, in the Byelorussian SSR, she formed the group with Svetlana Surganova in St Petersburg in 1993. Her work ranges between acoustic singer-songwriter material and Russian rock; songs associated with her include “31-ya vesna,” “Rubezh,” “Katastroficheski” and “Asfalt,” while key albums include Rubezh and Tsunami. Diana Arbenina has toured with Night Snipers since the 1990s, beginning in the duo’s guitar-and-voice format and later fronting a full rock band. She has also retained solo acoustic concerts as a separate format. Major band programs have reached Crocus City Hall in Moscow and the Ice Palace in St Petersburg.
