Die Prinzen in Timmendorfer Strand

Die Prinzen are a German pop group formed in Leipzig in 1991, known for close vocal harmonies, satirical lyrics and songs including “Millionär,” “Küssen verboten,” “Alles nur geklaut” and “Du musst ein Schwein sein.” Several members trained in the Thomanerchor or Dresdner Kreuzchor, and that choral background became central to the group’s sound. The 30 Jahre, 30 Hits, 30 Städte anniversary tour drew on three decades of their catalogue for concerts in theatres and larger halls. Die Prinzen have also presented Kirchenkonzerte that place their multipart singing at the centre of performances in church settings. The group has performed beyond Germany in both Vienna and Zurich.
