Artist
Diogo Nogueira is a Brazilian samba singer and songwriter born in Rio de Janeiro in 1981. The son of samba composer João Nogueira, he built his recording career around contemporary samba and pagode; “Pé na Areia,” “Clareou” and “Sou Eu” are among his best-known songs. His 2007 debut album, Ao Vivo, was recorded before an audience at Teatro João Caetano. He later carried that concert-led approach to Cuba, filming Ao Vivo em Cuba at Teatro Karl Marx in Havana.
