The Dirty Heads & 311 in Alpharetta

The Dirty Heads are an American band formed in Huntington Beach, California, in 2006. Their music combines reggae rock, hip-hop and ska, and they are known for songs including “Lay Me Down,” “My Sweet Summer” and “Vacation,” as well as the albums Any Port in a Storm and Sound of Change. In 2010, the band joined 311’s Unity Tour after playing dates in support of Sublime with Rome. Eight years later, the two groups mounted a co-headlining summer tour. The Island Glow Tour followed in 2023, when Lupe Fiasco, Yelawolf and G. Love & Special Sauce appeared on different dates.

311 is an American rock band formed in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1988. The group plays alternative rock shaped by reggae, funk, ska and rap, and is known for the songs “Down,” “All Mixed Up” and “Amber,” as well as the albums 311, Transistor and Soundsystem. The Unity Tour began in 1998 and became a recurring summer tour for the band. Two years later, 311 introduced 311 Day as a concert held around March 11; it developed into an extended, multi-set event, and later editions have taken place in Las Vegas.
