VTSS in Montreal

VTSS is the stage name of Polish DJ and producer Martyna Maja, who began her career in Warsaw and later based herself in Berlin. She plays fast, hard-edged electronic music that draws on techno, EBM and acid, and is known for tracks including “Atlantyda” and “Make You Scream,” as well as the EPs Self Will and Borderline Tenderness. VTSS played Unsound in Kraków as part of the Polish underground scene that shaped her early career. She later performed at Dekmantel in Amsterdam and at Berghain in Berlin, bringing her wide-ranging DJ sets to both festival and club settings.
