Dwele in Queens County

Dwele is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Detroit whose music sits between neo-soul and contemporary R&B. He is known for the song “Find a Way,” the albums Subject and Some Kinda..., and his vocals on Slum Village’s “Tainted” and Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights.” In 2012, Dwele performed a compact band set for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series, presenting his songs in an intimate office setting. His headline appearances have also included London’s Jazz Cafe.
