Ed Sheeran in East Rutherford

Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Halifax in 1991 and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. His acoustic pop songwriting and use of a loop station underpin albums including +, × and ÷, as well as songs such as “The A Team,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Shape of You” and “Perfect.” On the x Tour, he played three nights at Wembley Stadium in 2015, performing alone with guitars and a loop station. He followed it with the ÷ Tour, which moved through arenas and stadiums between 2017 and 2019. He began the Mathematics Tour in 2022, using a circular, in-the-round stage for its stadium dates. He has played repeated stadium dates in the United Kingdom and Australia. He also staged multi-night engagements at Dublin’s Phoenix Park and Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium.
