Edu Falaschi in Rio de Janeiro

Edu Falaschi is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from São Paulo who performs power metal and melodic heavy metal. He is best known as Angra’s lead vocalist from 2000 to 2012 and as the founder of Almah. His recordings with Angra include the albums Rebirth and Temple of Shadows, and songs such as “Nova Era” and “Spread Your Fire”; his later solo catalogue includes Vera Cruz and Eldorado. In 2011, Edu Falaschi performed with Angra at Rock in Rio. After leaving the group, he launched the Rebirth of Shadows Tour in 2017, basing its set on material from his years in the band. In 2019, he performed the complete Temple of Shadows album with a metal band and orchestra at Tom Brasil in São Paulo.
