Eleni Foureira in Kalamata

Eleni Foureira is a Greek pop singer born in Fier, Albania, who began her recording career with the girl group Mystique before going solo. She is best known internationally for “Fuego,” the song with which she represented Cyprus and finished second at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Her solo catalogue also includes the albums Eleni Foureira and Vasilissa. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, she advanced through the semi-final and performed “Fuego” in the grand final. She returned to the event in Tel Aviv for the 2019 Switch Song interval act, performing “Dancing Lasha Tumbai,” and sang “Fuego” again during the opening of the first semi-final in Malmö in 2024.
