Eleni Mandell in Cambridge

Eleni Mandell is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who writes folk, alt-country and jazz-tinged pop. She made her album debut with Wishbone and is also known for records including Country for True Lovers, Miracle of Five and Artificial Fire. She has recorded with Inara George and Becky Stark as The Living Sisters. Largo in Los Angeles was an important early setting for Mandell’s performances and connected her with the city’s singer-songwriter community. She later brought her intimate live sets to clubs and listening rooms beyond California, and in 2012 performed songs from I Can See the Future for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
