Elmiene in New Haven

Elmiene is a British singer-songwriter of Sudanese heritage who grew up in Oxford. He writes soul and R&B centred on his low, expressive voice, and became known through songs including “Golden” and “Someday” and the EP Marking My Time. In 2023, Elmiene supported Daniel Caesar on European dates of the Superpowers World Tour before developing his own headline shows. His later appearances included a concert at KOKO in London and a 2024 performance at Glastonbury Festival.
