Em Rusciano in Thirroul

Em Rusciano is an Australian comedian, singer, writer and broadcaster who reached a national television audience as a contestant on the second season of Australian Idol. Born in 1979, she has worked across stand-up, cabaret and radio, and created the podcast Emsolation. Her stage productions include Evil Queen and Rage and Rainbows. Evil Queen toured Australian theatres, followed by Rage and Rainbows, which combined stand-up, autobiographical storytelling and live songs. She later took Live & Unleashed around Australia, retaining that mix of comedy, music and personal material. Her comedy-cabaret shows have also been presented at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe.
