Mijares is a Mexican singer, born in Mexico City in 1958, whose repertoire centres on Latin pop and romantic ballads. He is known for songs including “Soldado del amor,” “Para amarnos más,” “Bella” and “El privilegio de amar.” Mijares presented his orchestral repertoire at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in the concert documented as Mijares Sinfónico. In 2013, he and Emmanuel launched Two’r Amigos, a joint concert tour featuring individual sets and duets; the production has returned to the Auditorio Nacional and reached Arena Monterrey.
