Emilio Del Guercio is an Argentine bassist, guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Buenos Aires in 1950. He co-founded Almendra, the rock group whose debut album included “Muchacha (ojos de papel),” and later formed Aquelarre. His work also includes the solo album Pintada. In 1977, Emilio Del Guercio returned from Spain with Aquelarre for the group’s farewell concert at Luna Park. Two years later he reunited with Almendra for concerts at Estadio Obras Sanitarias, followed by an Argentine tour after the band recorded El valle interior.
