Artists
Eric Johanson is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter from Louisiana who plays modern blues rock rooted in electric blues. His solo records include Burn It Down, produced by Tab Benoit, Below Sea Level, produced by Luther Dickinson, and The Deep and the Dirty, produced by Jesse Dayton. Eric Johanson toured as guitarist for Cyril Neville and later joined Royal Southern Brotherhood before concentrating on performances under his own name. He leads a power trio built around his guitar and vocals, a format documented on the concert album Live at DBA: New Orleans Bootleg.
Sean Chambers is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter from Florida who plays electric blues and blues rock. His recordings include Trouble & Whiskey, Welcome to My Blues and That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, an album devoted to the music of blues guitarist Hubert Sumlin. Between 1998 and 2003, he toured internationally as Sumlin’s guitarist and bandleader. He then resumed performing under his own name, and Live from the Long Island Blues Warehouse documented his electric band in a club setting. Sean Chambers continues to lead that band through blues clubs and festivals in the United States and Europe.
