Erja Lyytinen in Kellinghusen

Erja Lyytinen is a Finnish singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Kuopio in 1976, who plays blues rock centred on electric and slide guitar. She began releasing records under her own name with Wildflower and developed that sound on albums including The Sky Is Crying, Stolen Hearts and Another World. In 2006, Erja Lyytinen toured in Blues Caravan with Aynsley Lister and Ian Parker, and the three musicians also recorded the album Pilgrimage. The concert release Songs from the Road later documented her full band at the Savoy Theatre in Helsinki.
