Ermal Meta in Santa Maria di Castellabate

Ermal Meta is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Fier, Albania, in 1981 and raised in Bari from his teenage years. He first became known as the frontman of La Fame di Camilla before beginning a solo career built around melodic pop and rock. His songs include “Vietato morire,” “Piccola anima” and “Un milione di cose da dirti”; in 2018, “Non mi avete fatto niente,” recorded with Fabrizio Moro, won the Sanremo Music Festival and represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2018, he staged Non abbiamo armi - Il concerto at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, then toured the album around Italy. He moved into theatres the following year, presenting rearranged versions of his songs in performances accompanied by GnuQuartet.
