Artist
Evoken are an American funeral doom and death-doom band from New Jersey. Their music is built on slow, heavy guitar passages, death-metal vocals and dark keyboard textures; key albums include Embrace the Emptiness, Quietus, Antithesis, Atra Mors and Hypnagogia. In 2009, Evoken performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, and the set was later issued as Live at Roadburn 2009. Their festival history also includes an appearance at Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore.
