Fabio & Grooverider in London

Fabio & Grooverider are a British DJ partnership closely associated with the emergence of jungle and drum and bass in London. Both helped shape the music through club residencies, record labels and a long-running joint programme on BBC Radio 1. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, they were resident DJs at Rage, the club night at Heaven that became an early home for breakbeat hardcore and jungle. They later took their back-to-back sets to clubs and festivals, and in 2019 celebrated that history at the 30 Years of Rage event at the Roundhouse. Their standard performance is a two-DJ set built around selections from across jungle and drum and bass. They have also presented the music in orchestral form with The Outlook Orchestra, including a concert at the Royal Festival Hall.
