Fat Joe in Boston

Fat Joe is an American rapper born Joseph Cartagena in the Bronx in 1970. He released his debut album, Represent, as part of New York’s D.I.T.C. circle and later founded Terror Squad. His best-known records include “What’s Luv?,” “Make It Rain,” “All the Way Up” and Terror Squad’s “Lean Back.” In 2021, Fat Joe faced Ja Rule in a Verzuz event at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, performing selections from across their catalogs. Two years later, he joined the Hip Hop 50 Live concert celebrating the genre’s history at Yankee Stadium.
