Fernando Delgadillo in Monterrey

Fernando Delgadillo is a Mexican singer-songwriter, born in Mexico City in 1965, whose work belongs to the trova tradition and the style he calls canción informal. His repertoire includes “Hoy ten miedo de mí,” “No me pidas ser tu amigo” and “Julieta,” as well as the albums Entre pairos y derivas and Febrero 13. The concert recording A dos voces documents Fernando Delgadillo performing with fellow singer-songwriter Alejandro Filio. His own recital history includes appearances at Teatro Metropólitan and Auditorio Nacional, where his voice-and-guitar songs have moved into two of Mexico City’s principal concert rooms.
