Ferry Corsten in Mexico City

Ferry Corsten is a Dutch DJ and producer, born in Rotterdam in 1973, whose work centres on trance and progressive electronic music. He became known through “Out of the Blue” under the name System F, the Gouryella project, and solo tracks including “Punk” and “Rock Your Body Rock”; the latter appeared on his album Right of Way. In 2007, he staged the first Full On Ferry event at Rotterdam Ahoy, building the concert around his own extended performance and sets involving guest DJs. He later returned to the Gouryella name as a live project, debuting that production at EDC Las Vegas in 2016. He plays DJ sets in dedicated dance clubs including Ministry of Sound in London and performs on open-air festival stages at Creamfields in Daresbury.
