Flock of Dimes in Manchester

Flock of Dimes is the solo project of American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jenn Wasner, also known as one half of Wye Oak. Begun in Baltimore in 2011, the project pairs synth-led indie pop with electronic textures and guitar. Its releases include the albums If You See Me, Say Yes and Head of Roses, and songs such as “Semaphore,” “Two” and “Price of Blue.” In 2021, Jenn Wasner presented Flock of Dimes in a solo Tiny Desk (Home) Concert built around voice, guitar, keyboards and loops. Flock of Dimes later opened dates on Bon Iver’s 2022 US tour, where Jenn Wasner also performed as part of Bon Iver’s band.
